(2.0) OUR OBJECTIVES
(2.1) As per our Constitution, the organization’s Main Objectives are:
(2.1.1) To develop Community-Based Empowerment & Development Programs that are aimed at constructive engagement of human beings especially youth including juveniles of rural areas.
(2.1.2) To facilitate provision of accredited hands-on life skills through Skills Programs, Learnerships, Apprenticeships, Graduate Placement Programs, Studentships, Work Placemen Mentorships, etc., especially for poor, homeless and orphaned youth.
(2.1.3) To facilitate establishment and running of Community-Based Counseling Centers for victims of HIV/AIDS, gender-based violence, crime etc., especially in rural areas.
(2.1.4) To facilitate establishment and running of Foster Homes for homeless and orphaned children.
(2.1.5) To facilitate establishment and running of Community-Based “Drop-In Centers” especially vulnerable individuals including abused women and children.
(2.2) The organization’s Ancillary Objectives are:
(2.2.1) To be based within reach of all needy target groups among whom the organization will, inter alia, engage in Graduate, Student and Infant Support Programs.
(2.2.2) To ensure equality is observed during service delivery the latter which, inter alia, will include formation of ad-hoc Service Delivery Clubs which will inevitably embrace the Constitutional pillar of equality of beneficiaries on the basis of gender, youth, disability, age. religion, creed, tribe etc.
(2.2.3) To equip communities with tools of analysis which, inter alia, will enable them to identify community problems and prioritize community problems for resolution.
(2.2.4) To facilitate the establishment of “Organized Community Activities” especially among groupings of rural dwellers and underserved groupings.
(2.2.5) To promote co-operation between HEED-NGO and various NGO’s that provide related services in communities.
